"Immortal Tree" with the strength to live without it

In ancient times, the Egyptians believed that Isis, the wife of God Osiris, taught humanity about olive cultivation; The Greeks believed that the olive tree was a gift to humanity from the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena. We understand from the writings of the historian Herodotus that the sacred olive trees of Athena, known as moriae, were protected by special laws. Olive and olive oil are frequently mentioned in the holy books of monotheistic religions. In Islam, the origin of the olive tree is traced back to the days when Adam descended to the earth. Christians believe that the doors of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem and the cross on which Jesus was crucified were also made from these trees that grew in Adam's tomb. In the Ottoman Empire, it was believed that the olive brought fertility and was a talisman.

In many of these legends, the olive tree describes order, sedation, abundance, immortality, rebirth, that is, it represents life and peace. This must also be related to the physical structure of the olive. Once the olive tree clings to the soil, it does not die easily, it can give new shoots from its roots as soon as it is thought to be dead. The tree, whose leaves are green in summer and winter, has an almost eternal life force.
